We’re moving! As we relocate to our new headquarters, you may experience some delays. You can still place orders on our website during this time, but please note that production will be paused from June 12 to June 21. Thank you for your patience!
Understand DYE SUBLIMATION PRINTING
WHAT IS DYE SUBLIMATION
Dye sublimation is a printing technique used to create vibrant, durable designs on fabric.
The process involves printing a full-color image onto transfer paper, which is then placed on white fabric. This is run through pressure rollers at high heat, permanently integrating the design into the fabric fibers.
KEY BENEFITS OF DYE SUBLIMATION
Vibrant Colors
Produces bright, vivid images with photorealistic quality.
Durability
The designs are long-lasting, resistant to washing and wearing.
Design Flexibility
Supports full-color printing, including gradients and complex images, with no extra cost per color.
MATERIAL WE PRINT ON
We specialize in fabric printing and print exclusively on fabric.
We offer a variety of fabrics, including satin, matte, lycra, and mesh, and can source other types if needed. Our blank fabrics are white and printed on one side, except for felt slipmats, which allow for double-sided prints. Please note that we do not currently offer printing on vinyl or paper.
UNIQUE FEATURES
We offer two ink options to better fit your printing needs.
Regular Inks
Perfect for precise color matching.
UV Inks
Allow your designs to glow under blacklight, adding a stunning visual effect. Note that UV inks alter colors and a 100% color match is not possible. For tips to prepare your file for UV/Blacklight printing, click here.
FOLLOW THIS STEP BY STEP GUIDE
Color Mode
Which Mode to Use?
We recommend submitting your file in RGB color mode, but we also accept CMYK files.
Our printers are optimized to convert automatically RGB files to CMYK while preserving vibrant color intensity.
Accepted File Formats
We accept the following formats.
Vector: .ai, .eps, .pdf
Raster: .jpg, .png, .psd, .tiff
Optimal Resolution
Set your artwork to the exact size of your order with a minimum of 150 DPI for sharp, high-quality printing.
Low-resolution files may result in a blurry, pixelated, or noisy print.
DESIGN & Bleed GUIDELINES
Tapestries, Backdrops, Canopies
No bleed is required. Submit your artwork at the exact size needed. Please note that fabrics are heat-pressed and may shrink by 3% during the process.
DESIGN TIP: Our tapestries are sewn with a double stitch 1” from the edges. We recommend keeping important elements away from the edges to prevent stitching from overlapping them.
Slipmats
A bleed is optional but recommended for best results as slight offset can occur during production. Use our templates to ensure your file meets production standards. You can download templates here.
DESIGN TIP: Avoid thin borders, as they risk being cut off during the pressing process.
Avoid circling the hole center. There may be a slight offset during pressing (up to 1/8” tolerance),
which can make it appear off-centered.
DISCLAIMER: Double-sided 16oz Non-Glazed slipmats are prone to speckles.
They are pressed under heat twice, and during the second press, speckles may appear randomly
on the second side - especially in white or light areas. This can be caused by factors such as ink
bleeding, dust, or micro-particles within the slipmat material. We recommend using dark or busy
designs to minimize the visibility of speckles.
SENDING YOUR ARTWORK
Upload Through Product Page
Use the online uploader on the product page for an easy, fast and secure submission process (supports up to 500 MB).
Files Over 500 MB?
If your file is over 500MB or if you prefer to send a link, please provide a download link (via WeTransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive etc.) in the design notes section of your order.
Alternatively, you can reply to your order confirmation email with your artwork as an attachment or a download link. However, we don't recommend this method, as it slows down the process since we have to manually locate the artwork linked to your order.
