In 2004, Ronnie founded Glowtronics in a garage in Chicago with nothing but an idea and a dream. More than two decades later, Glowtronics has grown into a creative powerhouse, producing everything from slipmats to UV-active fabrics, apparel, and custom festival and event decor. What started as a small DIY operation has evolved into a globally recognized brand serving artists, DJs, festivals, and creative communities around the world. For Ronnie, the sky is still the limit - and this is only the beginning of what’s possible.
Fun Fact: Ronnie loves brainstorming new product ideas and bringing creative concepts to life. When he’s not dreaming up the next Glowtronics creation, he’s spending time with family or exploring new destinations around the world - with Bali, Indonesia among his recent adventures. Back at the shop, he keeps the vibe right with plenty of incense burning everywhere from the office to the parking lot.
Superpower: Ronnie’s superpower is his unwavering optimism. He sees opportunity where others see obstacles and has a knack for turning ideas into reality. If life gives him lemons, he’ll make lemonade - and probably find a way to make it glow.
Alanna is the engine behind the scenes at Glowtronics. As Director of Accounts & Operations, she manages client relationships, keeps projects moving, and makes sure the team has everything they need to deliver. From big-picture planning to last-minute problem solving, she’s the one making sure the details-and the deadlines-line up.
Fun Fact: Alanna was featured in Billboard Magazine for her artist gifting platform and backstage experience in the Sports & Entertainment industry. Outside of work, you’ll find her experimenting in the kitchen, planning elaborate parties for friends and family, or making memories with the people she loves most.
Superpower: Getting sh*t done. Quickly. Calmly. And usually ahead of schedule.
Valentine is the Creative Director at Glowtronics. As both a graphic designer and an accomplished artist, she brings a unique blend of elegance, innovation, and a magic into the shop. Her passion for creativity drives the team to explore new horizons.
Fun Fact: Valentine was born and raised in France and moved to the United States in 2020. She has been a passionate musician and belly dancer for 15 years. She’s a plant and animal lover and has been vegetarian for 14 years. She hasn’t owned a TV since 2008.
Superpower: Valentine’s superpower is that she finds beauty in everything. V is a color wizard - she can see 18 colors where you will only see 3! She’s got an eye for design, a calming presence & the patience of a saint!!
As a product expert focused on the success of our customers, Daniel draws from decades of experience at studios across the print industry. With a deep understanding of the processes and pressures involved with creating, whether you are a business or artist, he is constantly searching for new ways to improve the experience for our team and our community!
Fun Fact: When he isn’t working, he is most likely spending time with the trees and flowers. He is an Internationally certified Arborist, and avid gardener with a love for all living things.
Superpower: Sensing the systems. When it comes to plants, prints, or anything else, he excels at seeing the patterns and meeting those things where they are.
Kris brings decades of storytelling experience behind the camera and in the editing room.
When he’s not behind the camera or deep in an edit, you’ll probably find him taking apart instruments, amplifiers, and any other musical gear he can rescue and bring back to life. A longtime live music fan and father of three, Kris believes everything sounds better when it’s a little louder.
Fun Fact: Kris spent 7 years working with the New England Patriots where he won an Emmy Award and a Super Bowl ring.
Superpower: Kris has a natural instinct for figuring out how things work. Whether it’s a vintage guitar amp, a camera rig, or a stubborn piece of tech, he’s the guy who’ll take it apart, understand it, and put it back together better than before.
Anthony runs the print department at Glowtronics. With years of hands-on experience in the print industry, he brings a deep understanding of materials, processes, and problem-solving that keeps projects running smoothly and up to Glowtronics standards. A full-blown Disney adult and science fiction fanatic, he can quote just about any Star Wars movie from memory. He also enjoys a good glass of Chianti and date nights with his wife.
Don’t let the quick wit fool you-behind the jokes is a serious depth of industry knowledge. Anthony’s resume walks the walk, and he knows far more than he’ll ever let on.
Fun Fact: He hates being in photos, so we posted one that we think looks and acts the most like him (Darth Vader).
Superpower: Lightning-fast humor and perfect timing. Anthony’s comedic relief keeps the team laughing-even while he’s quietly solving problems no one else can.
Aida is the queen behind the Glowtronics sewing operations, known for her speed, precision & dedication.
Fun Fact: Born in Ecuador, Aida brings her love of music & dance to the Glowtronics shop. If you hear tunes playing, don’t be surprised to catch her busting a move.
Superpower: Aida is a workhorse to say the least and we’ve seen her crank out an entire pipeline of fabric sewing in record time. She’s an incredibly talented seamstress who isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty and is always down to help out the team with whatever they need.
